Now, why FIFA? I believe that in fifa 19 the coding has been done in such a way that unless the controller is giving 80% - 85% of the input in certain direction, the players do not respond, which is really weird tbh. I opened up the controller and saw that the left stick gets slightly misaligned after a while. The stick seems to be losing calibration / does not register UP movement to the max value after using it for some time. I have had 2 controllers that have this exact same issue within 4 months and it looks like the left stick manufacturing quality is not the best. This looks like a combo of problems from both EA (FIFA) and Logitech f310. but after sometimes it again stopped working well this problem is happening for last 2-3 months.Īfter facing this problem i noticed that, if i eject my controller and put it again then it works good for some while. so my through pass and finishing shot is not working perfect. my left stick stop working for some direction. but after playing some times it dose not work properly.
my contoller is good in every game also in fifa 19. if it controlling itself in the menus because your controller is drifting! If you release the analogue stick but the analogue is still moving by itself it is either a drifting issue or a calibration issue. Again, there's no guarantee that this will fix it if the issue is not related to dust/grease. If it is not even after calibration, then your problem is related to sticking/drifting analogue stick in which you can either replace it if it is under warranty or try using rubbing alcohol such as isopropyl 70+% and then clean the inside of the analogue sticks. Then the problem is more related to calibration of your controller. Here's a video that sorts out this problem for FIFA 18. Either you have to try and find a way to modify the config file so that the generic controller is accepted as a supported controller or you'll have to buy an officially supported controller. However, I know that with Generic unofficial controllers that aren't listed as supported for FIFA will have right stick issue with not functioning.
I have no problem with the Xbox 360 or One Controller using the Right Analogue Stick at least not in the demo or any of the previous FIFA titles on PC.
